Simple Fresh Salmon with Lemon and Garlic
Ingredients
- Olive oil spray
- Kosher salt and black pepper
- 400g salmon fillets
- 2 lemon wedges
- 1 teaspoon honey
- 1 garlic clove
preparation
- Step 1
Wash the salmon fillet, remove the bones, peel off the skin and cut into four portions. Pat dry with a kitchen towel.
- Step 2
For the marinade, wash the lemon, grate the peel and squeeze the juice from half a lemon. Peel the garlic and chop finely. Mix the lemon zest, lemon juice, garlic, honey and olive oil in a bowl. Season with salt and black pepper.
- Step 3
Rub the salmon with the marinade and marinate in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
- Step 4
Place the salmon fillets on a crisper plate and place them in the air fryer basket.
- Step 5
Select the Air Fry function, set the temperature to 200℃, set the time to 7 minutes, then tap Start/Pause.
- Step 6
Spray the top of the fillets with olive oil spray and then season with salt and black pepper.
- Step 7
Select the Air Fry function, set the temperature to 200℃, set the time to 6 minutes for thinner fillets or 8 minutes for thicker fillets, then tap Start/Pause.
Total cooking time will depend on the thickness of the salmon. The best way to tell when the salmon is done is to check the internal temperature with a food thermometer until it reaches 60℃.
- Step 8
Remove the salmon when it is golden brown on top and begins to fall apart slightly, then serve with lemon wedges.
